A tail of two pigs- our NatWest #pigsbykids
This is the tale of Pigling Bling, a country girl, whose dreams stretched far beyond the fences of the homestead where she was born. She tended chickens and watered the carrots every day, just as her mother had before her, but it did untold damage to her beautiful trotters. When she closed her eyes, she herself in Pig City, performing to sold-out audiences around the world. There was no doubt she'd look fabulous in curve-hugging creations from … [Read more...]
2 Ingredient dough: cheesy dough balls
Now I think about it, I should have called this post 3-ingredient dough balls, since that is all it requires: Greek yogurt- I used TOTAL, which has a great consistency for this kind of dough making. Self-raising flour Cheese. I developed it whilst using the last of my 2-Ingredient breadstick dough. So, even my dodgy maths makes it less than 10 weeks until the end of the year. I will have managed to take- and post regular updates as evidence- a picture every single day. And I thought I had no willpower. Sunday: we woke in North Holland to a lot of fog. The house we were staying in was tucked away surrounded by trees and wildlife and it was enough for us all just to be. So that's all we did, save for a trip in to Schagen for hot chocolates … [Read more...]
October Round-up
We were sent some Special K Crackers to review. I'm not a crisps person ordinarily so the ferocity with which I consumed these once the pack was alarming enough for DH to remove them to the 'safety' of a business trip to Leeds. Crisp as a poppadum and with a delightfully sweet and hot Sweet Chilli flavour, they definitely hit the pre-dinner-munchies spot. And at only 95 calories per serving versus 154 in a standard sized bag of salted Kettles … [Read more...]
