{Review} Cranberry, Clementine and Ginger Sponge Pudding
I was sent a Mermaid Pudding Basin, made of hard anodised alumium, to test recently. Favoured by celebrity and professional chefs such as Delia, Mermaid Bakeware ensures perfect cooking results every time, is a breeze to use and, more importantly, clean. And what better weather for a delicious steamed pudding? I used seasonal flavours to create a warming winter Cranberry, Clementine and Ginger Sponge Pudding. Our Advent Activity Calendar 2012- now with added linky!

It was their first Advent Calendar and worked really well for us: in addition to them getting a treat every day, we got to do a fun activity or craft that really cemented the notion that Christmas was more than simply gifts. {Review} Handpicked Collection
It's simple: the Handpicked Collection does exactly what it says it will. It provides you with things that have been handpicked for you. Things you will love, covet and add to your Christmas List. Things that you didn't know you wanted. Things you didn't know existed. Like the Bouffadou. Yes, it sounds like the punch-line to a joke. If you believe that, then the joke is on you. Because if you have a real fire, you need a real fire … [Read more...]
366 Week 47
Sunday: late-night walking incident left DH carrying the dog home sans collar so Girls and I indulged our inner Essex at the Pet Store. The Wonder Hound is now the blingiest dog in Bromley I shouldn't wonder. Being Girls we also made a few other purchases of shoes, craft stuff and storage: the Holy Trinity! Home to DH for lunch, a walk out along the sea front in the sunshine and then the regular drive back towards the Big Smoke. There wasn't an … [Read more...]
