Helen Neale is popping on the blog today. She is a freelance writer, and mum to Stuntboy and Chatterbox, the stars of both her blogs at kiddycharts.com and stickersstarsandsmiles.com. She writes parenting advice, as well as selling personalised charts on KiddyCharts. Stickers, Stars and Smiles is a bit more personal, and a lot more cluttered. She can be occasionally found on there having a beer, which she clearly can't do in the office. As … [Read more...]
five ways to set your Instagrams free!
I recently mentioned that I am a bit Mamarazzi when it comes to taking pictures of my children. The thing is that with the advent of digital photography, all those images seem to remain on my phone or Dropbox and I do nothing with them. Christmas is a perfect time to really make full advantage of the pictures you take using the Instagram App so I've been having a look around at what you can do with your pictures: here are five ways to set your … [Read more...]
Hot glue and glitter Snowflake ornament
This really is a wonderfully simple festive craft inspired by the most amazing craft blogger- Aunt Peaches. Earlier in the year she shared a post on how to make a confetti cake topper which is, I think you will agree, a fabulous craft. Tuesday: DH was a t home for the day, working. This always makes me feel like I need to do more than I usually do, or … [Read more...]

Hamp it up: alternatives to the traditional Christmas Hamper
Hampers are a very traditional part of Christmas. As a child I clearly remember hoping that one day a basket-shaped parcel would land on our doorstep filled with treats for us to enjoy. Now that I am grown I have come to realise that it doesn't have to come in a basket to be called a Hamper. A Hamper is just an expression for a collection of gifts with one theme that you can give to your nearest and dearest in the season of giving, rather than … [Read more...]
