2 Ingredient dough: cheesy dough balls
Now I think about it, I should have called this post 3-ingredient dough balls, since that is all it requires: Greek yogurt- I used TOTAL, which has a great consistency for this kind of dough making. Self-raising flour Cheese. I developed it whilst using the last of my 2-Ingredient breadstick dough. Make the dough up according to the instructions: half the mixture made about 8 balls, so I would guess that a full batch would make … [Read more...]
Things to do in London with children this half-term
I was reminded today of how lucky I am to live on the doorstep of London, with all the distraction and entertainment that it offers. When I was younger and based in Yorkshire, London was a place filled with mystery and excitement. If you have a trip planned to make the most of the half-term break, then allow me to make a few suggestions of things to do: 1. And at only 95 calories per serving versus 154 in a standard sized bag of salted Kettles … [Read more...]

I felt her pain too, and delighted in her victories. She left a little Mummy-Misfit-shaped hole in my life when I was finished. Imagine, then, my joy when Amanda Egan released Completing … [Read more...]
Pampers and Unicef working together to stop MNT
If you are parents you will know how precious each life under your roof is. You will also know how many nappies you get through daily. So it may come as no surprise that UNICEF and Pampers are uniting, as they have every year since 2006, to highlight the threat that Maternal Newborn Tetanus (MNT) still presents across vast swathes of the globe. Maternal Newborn Tetanus is caused by the spores carried in the soil in the less … [Read more...]
Five tips for buying your School Run Coat
There are things that I am beginning to find essential in a coat now that I spent about half of my week on the school run. Never mind the latest fashion, if I am standing out in all weathers (which, lets face it, mostly means 'wind' and 'rain' and often 'both together' in the UK) then I want to be warm and dry and Vogue can go and hang itself. I'll give you a minute to recover from the very idea that I even know how to spell Vogue, never mind … [Read more...]
