I need a holiday: I have been up the last three nights with Dimples who takes to a cold like a man. It's exhausting. To make matters worse, LBG seems- unsurprisingly given that they recently decided to share the same bed 'until we are grown-up ladies'- has gone down with the same lurgy. I have trailed home during rush hour bearing all the symptoms and we have a week left to get through until school break's up for Easter. Meanwhile DH is … [Read more...]
{Review} Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum
I don't ordinarily write about beauty products because I pay little attention to my skin but I have to tell you this story. More Than Toast wrote a post the other day about her current face favourites: the products that make a difference to how her skin looks and feels. I have never been one to bother with all that sort of stuff but I have noticed of late that my skin is starting to look it's age: I guess it's the 'mother effect'. So I was … [Read more...]
Barbie and The Pink Shoes Giveaway
My Girls love ballet. LBG goes every Friday after school and I love peering in through the window watching her hold her little blue skirt and skipping around the room. They are great for airports: all that open space and smooth polished flooring make them easy to pull and better to ride on. This week, we hit North America, and saw only one other Trunki the entire trip, so got lots of attention as we travelled through Toronto and Phoenix Airports. Several people asked me where … [Read more...]

Toyella Magnatabs Giveaway
I am very annoyed to be hosting this giveaway for the lovely Carl at Toyella because it means that I will not be eligible to enter. Have you seen the Magnatabs toys before? How awesome are they? The Magnatabs are ideal for children at playgroup and early school year ages. Children can learn and practise handwriting using the tablet and magnetic pen. Ball bearings rise up when the pen passes over. The game is very fascinating and … [Read more...]
