According to PD's Easter Countdown there are 6 days until the Easter bunny comes, so it was high time we got busy with a LOT of glue and half of the world's supply of sparkle to decorate our Easter Bonnets. Whilst the girls got busy, I had to find something to occupy myself so that I was too busy to interfere help. Fortunately there was a packet of polystyrene eggs in the bottom of the Easter craft bag Granny had kindly given us and, with a … [Read more...]
A Right Royal Wedding: how to make Will and Kate from Champagne corks
How to make Will and Kate from Champagne corks! If you live within the borders of the British Isles you are likely to know that we have an extra Bank Holiday at the end of the month in honour of a certain Royal Wedding. I haven’t been invited, but that’s to be expected as Wills has never forgiven me for marrying DH, and in St Paul’s Cathedral too. Poor Wills has had to make do with Westminster Abbey. How to make a Rabbit Wreath for Easter
I have been meaning to join in Magpie Monday at Me and My Shadow for the longest time since I am a regular raider of charity shops and love going to Boot Fairs. Coloured rice and I spy bottles

We spend every weekend in the car driving back and forth to the Kent Coast, and I am always on the lookout for easy ways to keep them entertained in the car. There's nothing worse than spending most of your journey twisting round from the front seat reaching for things … [Read more...]

Now I'm no Red Ted, but I do try, and after some success at bubblewrap printing at playgroup a few weeks ago, I messed around with using Bubblewrap to make Easter Cards. You will need: Bubblewrap Cards Paint Glue Stickers, Glitter, adhesive ribbon, regular ribbon Firstly, cut egg shapes from the bubblewrap. Make sure they are slightly smaller than the card you are using. Then mix paint and glue together in the style of Mister Maker (a 50/50 … [Read more...]

Dip pepper in paint. 3. Print pepper onto paper, card, wall (OK, maybe not the last one.) And Bob is your Uncle. If you are feeling a little more creative, try some of these great ideas: Roots and Wings has been busy eating rainbows all week in … [Read more...]
