The first week of the school holidays is gone, and we've had little time to be still, though mornings have started slightly later and without the sense of urgency that goes hand-in-hand with school mornings. On Sunday, despite the mixed weather, we had a fun hour or two on the beach burying each other in the sand. Otherwise known as the week we said goodbye to Kindergarten, the week started with rain, and ended with sun. It started with us striking camp in the rain (and waiting four days for it to be dry so that we could air out the tent) and ended it burying small people in sand on the beach.
