Friday Night is Hedgehog Night
The Supportive Fellow Mum (SFM) had a birthday this week. She got flowers and chocolates and an evening out sans enfants, which is not to be sniffed at when you have 17-month-old twins. The stain game
I am being genuine when I say I love ironing. Once upon a time it was the element of getting something perfectly flat and smooth and beautifully folded or hung that I loved, along with the smell of freshly ironed things. Winter Pavlova
The oven we inherited from the former owners of our house is refusing to die, and whilst it clings stubbornly to life, it continues to cook things in unpredictable fashion, which rather makes any attempts at baking quite risky. A Cold War
I have contracted a cold from the visiting Mothership, which has sunk to my chest. The growing bump prohibits any over-the-counter medications, so I have been forced to take to my bed with a large box of Kleenex, laptop, Sky Movies and plenty of fluids.
