Introduction to Art: Magritte
I remember travelling to London from school to look at works of Art in the big London Galleries. In particular was Rene Magritte's art, featuring bowler hats and famous- to me at least- for appearing in the film The Thomas Crown Affair. It's been the Back to School week, which begins the Countdown-to-the-holidays at DG Manor. It began with a bang and the urgent need for shoes, as LBG appeared to have grown an entire shoe size in the week that we'd been in France. I can hardly believe it, but our week in France went by in a heartbeat. It was such a lovely time for us all, relaxing in each other's company, catching up on sleep, spending time together.
