Ba-da-bing Boomer 2-in-1 Balance Bike

I tried asking nicely. I tried begging. I tried ordering my girls to stop growing up but neither of them listen to me.

In the last two weeks alone we have had the first Cinema-trip-playdate-without-me (LBG)  and the first swimming lesson (Dimples).

So it should not  have really been a shock when Dimples- who is a demon on a scooter- wanted to learn to ride a bike.

Boomer 2 in 1 balance bike review

Last year, we tried out Not Another Mummy Blog’s Boomer bike, to see if Dimples was big enough. She was not. So we waited and waited and waited some more. And boy was it worth the wait.

The Boomer 2-in-1 Balance Bike is fabulously stylish, comes in a variety of colours and took but a few minutes to put together, even with a dictatorial about-to-be-four-year-old standing over her father telling him to hurry up! Naturally when offered the choice of colours to review, Dimples chose pink and it is a glorious ice-cream shade, ideal for us, I mean her.

It has super-cool reflective lettering, colour-trimmed tyres and a height-adjustable seat. I clearly raise dinky children as Dimples can only just use it on the lowest setting. Not that in her excitement she is still in her pjs whilst trying to get to grips with the balance-bike technique.

DH and I are delighted with it. It is made from steel so will take any knocks that life has to throw at it: sturdy yet light enough for us to carry when she gets bored or is eating ice-cream, the bike is also designed for longevity as it comes with an adaptor kit that turns a balance-bike into a cycle. This makes the bike great value for money as well as beautifully stylish and easy to use. The seat has an integrated parent handle to help guide your child along the garden path or through the park.

I am genuinely very impressed with the service from Paul’s Yard– who sent the bike to us to review- the style and design of the bike and would heartily recommend them both.

The Boomer 2-in-1 Balance Bike is £99.00 which includes FREE postage and packing.

Ooooh brilliant! She looks so pleased. The Duchess has asked for a pink balance bike for her birthday. *runs off to show husband*
