Golden Cornflake Treat to Ring in the New Year

You need a special treat to see in the New Year. And a golden cornflake wreath seems to fit the bill beautifully.

Obviously the yield will depend on how big you make your wreaths. Get the children to help out: it’s a fun activity for New Years Eve, especially if the weather is inclement.

You can get edible spray online, from supermarkets and from Hobbycraft in the baking section.

Total time:  15 mins

Ingredients
  • 200g cornflakes
  • 75 g butter
  • 200g bag of marshmallows
  • handful of dried cranberries
  • Edible Gold Spray
Instructions
  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
