The last time I went to Lucky Voice, it was a friend’s 40th. We spent the night singing the hits of the eighties and drinking shots with Cola Bottles in them. I woke up with a sore head and a sore throat the next morning. It was awesome.
On Sunday morning, my sore head was the result of getting up too early and trying to read instructions to our Lucky Voice Karaoke Kit without my glasses on. Once I’d located them I realised that it was so easy to set up I barely needed instructions. I stole DH’s PC speakers, hooked them up to the sound-mixing box and before you could say Gangnam Style, we were belting out Taylor Swift and Waking Up The Neighbours.
The Lucky Voice Website- aside from being very stylish- is so easy to use: search for artists in the search box, or look for songs alphabetically using the drop-down box. The lyrics are very easy to read- even for a five-year-old- and the mixing box was brilliant for getting the right blend of vocal and music. There are thousands of songs to chose from, for all ages, and the only thing lacking from the experience I had at Lucky Voice before were the props. But a trip to the Fancy Dress Shop and I’ll be ready to host all my friends for impromptu karaoke experience at any time of day and night, and all for the price of the kit- which starts at £49.95 and comes in a variety of microphone colours. The Lucky Voice Online Karaoke turns any computer (with internet access) into the ultimate karaoke machine. Just register at www.luckyvoice.com/sing for a 14 day free trial, where you’ll have access thousands of songs for only £4.99 a month.
To summarise: the only downside to having your own Lucky Voice Online Karaoke is that you may never get a go on it yourself.
*Disclosure: we were sent a Lucky Voice Karaoke Box and a subscription to the website for the purposes of writing this review. All opinions, videos and terrible musical puns are our own.*

Your kids are so CUTE! And they have props in the clubs? I’m so booking a party!

We LOVE ours – it’s on more than it’s off.
Oh and do I see Steps in the last photo?
Domestic Goddesque says
Of course Cass. It would be a parent fail if I didn’t introduce my children to the 90’s genius of Steps. And the dance moves will come when they are word perfect 😀
Having spent quite a lot of time in karaoke rooms in Japan recently, my two would love this! Can’t see the vids unfortunately tho…
several people have that problem @bavariansojourn. Frustrating as half the readers can see them just fine!
this looks so much fun! I’ve always loved singing. It would be a great present too.
I think it would Rebecca- I’d certainly have loved to have been given it if I had read about it on another blog!!
Oh my goodness – I WANT ONE! I’m imagining parties with my friends or just a sing-off with the husband on a Friday night. And I know a certain three year old who would LOVE this… especially if she can sing along to her beloved Olly Murs!
Totally @Molly. We have Olly Murs on repeat for most of the day!!
Oh there so cute! My kids would love this.I’m a metalhead so I doubt have I can sing to.
You never know @Aly. I’m sure they have something for everyone…..
