I was unexpectedly sent a few samples of iced tea from Hampstead Tea. The warm weather and my new Vitamix made me think I should use them in cocktails. And so I did.
My favourite tea- the Raspberry, I added to a tin of frozen peaches- more specifically I should say that I emptied a tin of peaches into a tub and froze them. I topped it up with a hefty whack of the fabulous Raspberry Vodka from Howards of Kent and blended until smooth. It really is delicious- fruity and summery, even if the weather is turning again, and very easy to sit and sip in the afternoon sun. In fact I liked it so much, I named it, with the help of Dorky Mum. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you The King’s Peach.
I also discovered that if you whizz up Elderflower tea, gin and half a peeled cucumber, you get a very refreshing drink too. I could get used to this Vitamix Mixology!
*disclosure: I was unexpectedly sent the tea samples, though I don’t drink tea. I love Howards of Kent and have written about them before. Likewise Vitamix- who sent me a machine to host a cocktail party. I received no payment for this post and the opinions and ideas are mine alone.

Having seen the Vitamix in action at BritMums Live this weekend I am insanely jealous that you have one. That thing is AMAZING! I’m not a tea-drinker but vodka….
