5 crafts using toilet rolls

5 crafts using toilet rollsI was recently unable to attend a hangout with a bunch of UK craft bloggers where the challenge was ‘crafts using toilet rolls’. So I thought I’d

share with you 5 super crafts that we have made using toilet rolls instead.

  1. A simple didgeridoo– some might call it a kazoo- is easy to make from a loo roll when you are talking about Australia. You just need an empty tube and some greaseproof paper!
  2.  The coffee filter peacock was made using a loo roll for the body. IT was a two-stage process but the result was worth the wait- so beautifully colourful.
  3.  There was a bit of a hiccup whilst trying to get our toilet roll cannon to work, but it was a great project for three generations of the family to work on together.
  4. It was wonderful having the Olympics in London last year and we made an Olympic Torch of our own using toilet roll and kitchen roll tubes.
  5. Our toilet roll windsocks were easy to make and looked beautiful hung from the trees in our garden.

For more great toilet roll craft ideas, check out what other bloggers featured on the cardboard tubes hangout:

These look great, I really like the windsocks! I always find our little guy wandering round with one he’s found but might be nice to actually put them to good use x
