It’s St George’s Day this week, and time for us to celebrate our Saint’s Day.
In the words of LBG, the story goes as follows:
‘the people had to give all their princesses away so that the dragons wouldn’t attack the villages. Then one day they ran out of princesses. No, there was one Princess left but she was much specialer and they didn’t want to give her away. So the king asked a brave-and-handsome-knight to kill the dragon. And the knight did, so they called him Prince Knight St George and they celebrated him. And the Princess Daisy fell in love and they got married and they lived in a pretty castle and Sir George had to go to work fighting dragons but Princess Daisy stayed at home and brushed her hair.’ Which is where the story became the plot of Tangled.’
I had every intention of posting a great craft for you to make ahead of the day itself but, alas, we haven’t yet made it. So instead I would like to offer you 17 simple St George’s Day Crafts.
