Five Simple Yogurt Recipes

Growing up in Cyprus, I have memories of thick creamy yogurt drizzled with golden honey. Most things were covered in honey, to be fair, but it’s the yogurt I remember most. Perhaps that’s why I love nothing more for breakfast when in warm countries than honeyed yogurt. There is always yogurt in our kitchen: the Girls get through masses of it. And I am happy for them to have it because I know that it is packed full of calcium.

What I didn’t know about TOTAL Greek Yogurt is that it is so high in protein: approx 10g per 100g. Deliciously smooth and good for growing small people: what could be better?

And, of course, you can do more with yogurt than drip it in honey. Here are five easy recipes using yogurt:

  1. Breadsticks, made with 2-Ingredient Bread Dough
  2. Lemon Drizzle Cake
  3. Cheesy Dough Balls
  4. Caribbean Mango Cream
  5. Curried Chicken Thing

If that were not enough, let me tell you about the phenomenal Chocolate and Cinnamon cake from Cheetah’s In My Shoes. I recently made this for a Parent Coffee Morning and it was snaffled up.

*Disclosure: I was sent a variety of TOTAL’s yogurt range for the purposes of writing this review. My opinions and recipes are my own.

I love adding yoghurt to cakes, it makes them so much more light and fluffy.
