Sunday: LBG practises her ball-skills with Daddy in the garden whilst I watch. The Shine walk was exhausting and I had so little energy, so The Girls kept me entertained all day in the garden and later at the swimming pool. Monday: with LBG at school, Dimples gets one-on-one time. We achieved major victory against ‘stuff’ by sorting the playroom and putting four bags aside for rubbish and charity donations. As a reward, we treated ourselves to lunch in Bromley and a couple of new Melissa and Doug puzzles that were on sale. Tuesday: a parent at school gave Dimples some old ballet kit, which she then wore all day. We made 2-ingredient pizza dough, from which we made pizza for lunch and yummy breadsticks for a post-school snack for LBG. Granny came over for a visit and sampled the cappuccino cupcakes and looked after The Girls whilst I attended my first PTA meeting. Wednesday: with both children in school, I took Uncle Adam to Bluewater, where I had lunch with Mari and indulged The Girls in the Gap sale. After school we did some letter recognition, matching cards to the letters on our Breakfast Room walls Dimples looks like she’s plotting in this shot (top right). Thursday: The Wonder Hound had an appointment at the vets for her annual inoculations, and needed some sympathy afterwards. Once The Girls were home, they went a bit crazy so were exhausted by bedtime. But Dimples got a second wind and ended up curled up next to me on the sofa with her beloved Wonder Hound. Friday: we were all in a excitable state as a package arrived from @playmerrily containing Hama Beads. The moment I had returned from the school run (via the latest Vintage Mix pop-up and lunch with my fellow Parent Rep.) I just had to break them out and try some ideas for the Annual Pumpkin Party, which is coming up at the end of the month. Saturday: we awoke at the Beach House to beautiful blue skies. After a morning in Tesco’s and lunch out, we found a Pumpkin Patch on the way home and stopped to take pictures. Once unpacked at home, it was Beach time and we got the last of the sunshine whilst we played and dug and read. But once the sun was gone, the temperature dropped, so we lit the first fire of the season.
My beloved DH on his beloved beach, enjoying the last of the sun. He is my knight in shining armour and did an incredible job last weekend being a single parent whilst I was at the MADs and then Shine 2012.

That is a wonderful beach shot, and you did a fab job at MADs. I never caught up with you to thank you for presenting me with my award. I was so blown away at the time. Next time I promise to chat and not be so rude! Thank you for sharing your week in photos with Country Kids too.

Your girls are so gorgeous – love the sleepy dog one and the sunset on the beach.
How did you make the 2 ingredient pizza dough?? Thanks
Hi Lissa: the dough is the easiest thing ever. You just need self-raising/rising flour and natural yogurt. I used this recipe: http://www.kidspot.com.au/best-recipes/Dinner+7/2-ingredient-pizza-dough-recipe+2760.htm
