Project 366, Week 35

Sunday: hot chocolate before bed at Granny and Grandpa’s house. All that swimming exhausted The Girls and they were in bed and asleep at 7pm, so DH and I snuck out to watch a movie whilst the GP’s babysat!
Monday: a last swim before we headed back to London.
Tuesday: we had a restful day at home, including DH who worked out of the Man Cave and helped paint the climbing frame for my latest project. The Girls had jelly with squirty cream and sprinkles on the top for pudding. Some people really are that easy to please!
Wednesday: we made an outing to see Granny, and The girls enjoyed a ramble through the park.
Thursday: a busy day in London. We followed the Buzybee Trail in Bloomsbury, popped in to the British Museum, played in a nearby park and then went to Dear Zoo’s 30th birthday party at Pan Macmillan. LBG enjoyed running around the museum gardens before tiredness got the better of her and we had to make an emergency cake stop at nearby Patisserie Valerie.
Friday: The important uniform test. A trip to Ikea with Granny. A trip to Clarks with the Godlings, and a migraine for Mamma.
Saturday: waking up in the Beach House after five weeks away from it has made us all so happy. We had a wonderful time on the beach, despite the overcast skies. DH bought a boogie board and The Girls practised their ‘surf’s up’ poses, as seen on Barbie: Mermaidia.

Can I just say that they *really* do look cute in the uniform. Like, edible cute. I may love my children a little more than is healthy. I’m grateful that you all agree with me, otherwise it would be embarrassing.
