It’s nearing the end-of-term and whilst half of me is trembling with fear as 8 weeks of school-free-time stretches in front of me like an abyss, the other half is looking forward to not getting up with the sparrows and screeching at my children to ‘hurry-up-we’ll-be-late’ for a full sixty minutes each day. Oh, and of course, to our House Exchange in Arizona! First however, comes the traditional end-of-year rites-of-passage: Moving Up Day, making the uniform last three more weeks and Thank You gifts for the teachers.
I’m lucky that my girls like crafts. Lucky that they like making things for their teachers. So when I asked them what they wanted to make, they were very excited to make bags. You can never have enough bags, it seems. (I’m joking: of course I know this. If only DH knew how many bags I owned. Mind you, the number of bags our daughters have between them is quite alarming too.) I naturally spent a full five minutes on Pinterest before tracking down a couple of ideas
