Pet Shop Bowl review

It’s not a pet. Or a bowl. But it is a shop. An online shop selling, amongst other things, bowls for your pet. Petshopbowl.co.uk got in touch with Wonder Hound, via me of course, to ask if we’d care to review their delivery services. Bearing in mind that the Wonder Hound is the under dog in this household, and it’s been a trying few weeks for her, having to cope with all the build work- the men, the lack of easy garden access, the doorbell going all the time- it seemed only fair that I accepted on her behalf.

I perused the website with ease. I am, after all, and old hand at online shopping. I confess I didn’t really bother looking beyond the ‘Dog’ category, since that is where our priorities lie, but it had everything you would expect: the big names, the wormer, the anti-flea treatments (although interestingly, not the one that I buy), collars, the eponymous bowls and treats of all kinds. I went with the Dog Spinny because I wanted something special.

Communication was very good: an email confirming order, one confirming dispatch and a third to tell me that my products would be arriving a day late due to the Bank Holiday. Which they did. Well wrapped, with the added bonus of an extra treat. And I have to say that both Nugget and DH and I were utterly delighted with the product: designed to teach the dog to solve the puzzle and get the treat.

I was genuinely jolly impresses with the service offered by petshopbowl.co.uk: good range of products, excellent communication, great delivery service, and a super treat to boost.

*Disclosure: I received the Dog Spinny free of charge in order to be able to test the order and delivery service provided by Pet Shop Bowl, but all opinions are my own.
