I discovered the ScootNPull through the fabulous Littlebird. Not only that, I discovered it at a discount. If you haven’t heard of Littlebird, then you should: they offer handpicked deals for families and I love them all. Just a quick sign-up and you get regular updates in your inbox. If any of the deals appeal, just enter all your details. And believe me when I tell you that all of the offers are fabulous.
Which is how I came to have a ScootNPull to give away. I got carried away, with good reason: I told you the deals were good. And the Scootpull is brilliant.
LBG was given a scooter by her new little sister for her second birthday. She didn’t really get the concept until about six months ago and then, one day, out of the blue, she was off. Well, she scooted three paces and declared herself exhausted, but that was such massive progress, DH and I nearly fell over. Dimples was literally hours behind her: having seen what Big Sis could achieve, she wanted the same. And, before you know it, they were fighting for scooter time. Which is why the Dimpled One, kamikaze hugger and hairpuller, will be getting a scooter for her second birthday in a few days time.
All of which is irrelevant information, really. Going back to LBG and her scooter. She’s getting there, but we have a way to go, and there is still the I’m-bored-with-this-now issue of what to do with your scooter when you are twenty minutes from home with a scooter and a three-year-old. The answer, you should have realised, is, ScootNPull.
The ScootNPull is a fabulously simple product: a strong, colourful strap that attaches to the T-Bar of your scooter and allows you to ‘tow’ your child home. It also acts as a carry-handle for taking back to the car after you drop your scoot-free child at the school gates. And, in our case, it gives added security if scooting by a busy road: just loop the handle around your wrist so that your child can’t veer too badly off course without you being aware of it.
To whit, here is LBG with her fatherly sidekick demonstrating the brilliance of the Scootnpull:
Now, to the business in hand. To win a Red Scootnpull, it would be nice if you could:
a) follow Littlebirddeals on Twitter and leave a comment telling me you have done so
b) tell me the best deal you ever got
don’t forget to leave me a means of contact. The competition is open until midnight on Monday 13th February 2012.
Thank you for entering the competition, which has now closed. Congratulations to TheBoyandMe, who won the red ScootNPull.
Disclosure: I received no remuneration for this post. I like Littlebird, and used them to get this deal. I also liked the Scoot ‘n Pull and reviewed it as objectively as I do every other product I review. I bought an extra one by mistake and I feel like giving it away because I can.

The best deal I ever got was when I married my soul mate nearly a year ago now !! …. sounds soppy i know … but I am actually talking about the restaurant we booked out for our wedding meal … it cost £2500 for 100 people to be fed a three course meal, with a choice of four for each course, and with wine and/or soft drinks included … all handmade fresh food… DELICIOUS !!!!! xxxx

Following you on Twitter.
My best deal was on December 2011. I planned a good present for my nephew for New Year, but just the day before his bd, I got my money stolen from my bag. That was really frustrating, but that evening I found a 90% sale of kid clothes on one of the local forums. My nephew was really happy with the present, and so was I!

I have followed them on twitter.
The best deal I ever got? That’s a tough one, but I’ll go with one of my yearly favourites which is the buy one pack of Mr. Kipling mince pies and get two packs free. Does that count?
@TheBoyandMe for contact.
