About six months ago I started following The Boy and Me, drawn in by her Project 365, and the wonderfully daily photos that she was publishing of her Boy. It occurred to me that this was a brilliant idea and I determined to follow her lead at the beginning of 2012. It seems I was not the only one: my G Reader is filled with the most wonderful #366 posts at the moment, and I love them all.
Because I am a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants blogger, and because we have a commuter-life, living in London during the week and on the Kent Coast at weekends, it’s often challenging for me to reliably post every day. I therefore resolved that, although I take photographs on a hourly basis, I would post my 2012 Photo Journal (since I suppose that this is what the project is) once a week. I do try and upload the pictures to my Facebook page more regularly if you can’t wait though!
Thus, I give you week 1:

Great photos. Love the mix of subjects and styles, and the little captions are lovely.

The Boy and Me: Some are edited with Picnik, others with the picplz app on my phone (Android. I like playing around with the edits though!! I don’t know why the badge didn’t work last night but it should function now.
Mummy Central: I have myriad photos of my Girls, never fear. I had a plan for a photo journal of life, rather than just my Girls and that is why I am mixing up the shots. Do what works for you!

Please can you add the badge so people can find the other linkups?
They are gorgeous photos, really lovely variety of photographic styles, content and editing ‘treatments’. Are you a ‘picnik’er too? Thank you so much for my lovely mention too, now where’s your subscribe button so I can follow your photo journey?
Thanks for linking up to #Project366, have you joined our Facebook group? (https://www.facebook.com/groups/351136348236205/)
What a fabulously different and unusual collection of shots. You have a good eye for what makes an interesting photo. Inspires me to try harder next time (my pics are always dull ones of the kids, smiling at the camera)
