There is frost on the ground and I have seen my second Santa of the season, so I’m back with yet more wonderful gifts to give away as we get ever closer to Christmas Day.
If you haven’t come across The Little Green Paint Box before, you really ought to go and take a look. The family run company is a great source of Eco-friendly arts and crafts for all ages. Added to which they are also organic and fair-trade, so they really are the best kinds of products to fill your Christmas Stockings with. Not only that, but Laura is a mother of five who still has time to run a company and chat on twitter, blog about amazing crafts that she has made, ย and generally make herself warm and cosy in your heart. Who wouldn’t want that from a website?
And because she is so lovely she has given me three craft kits to give away. That’s right, you have three chances of winning, and all you need to do is follow The Little Green Paintbox on twitter:ย @tlgpaintbox and let me know that you have done so.
This competition has been closed and winners notified.

I have been bitten once again by the Black Dog.
Most days I bumble along, keeping busy, not thinking too hard about the fact that I am still being treated for PND two years after I was diagnosed. I don’t know that you’d even notice. Until I disappear.
I’m happy to talk about it when I’m well, you see. When I don’t talk, when I’m not there as you expected, when I disappear, that’s when you know I’m struggling. It’s been that way for the last few days: where all I can do is put one foot in front of the other, follow the routine, look after The Girls. Once they are asleep I hide. I don’t call, I don’t write, I don’t eat. I hibernate like a wintering bear. I want to hibernate, hide from the world.
It doesn’t matter how many posts you have scheduled, there will never be enough to cover for you, as in this case. I’m doing my best. Writing is part of my schedule. Crafting is part of my schedule. Baking too. And Christmas is coming: nothing can stop it, and there are preparations to be made. I must keep moving forward.
Followed by the Black Dog.
