Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Magic Mirror Wand

As I write, Dimples is asleep (touch wood!) clutching what is currently the most precious thing in the world to her. Thanks to a kind word from Him Up North, Entertainment One made her year by sending her a Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Magic Mirror Wand, and since the moment I got it out of the box, it has gone everywhere with her. I even found myself putting a name label on it this morning so that she could take it with her to nursery.

Holly's Magic Mirror Wand

My children have just been introduced to Ben and Holly (which comes from the same amazing creative team behind the masterpiece that is Peppa Pig) and have been utterly captivated. The fabulously pink wand we received is a replica of the one Princess Holly herself uses.  And it does actual magic: wave it and it makes a swishy magical noise and Holly mysteriously appears. If  you need Princess Holly’s help to cast spells, you press the button and she will  appear as a moving picture saying one of five different  phrases. Crucially (and this applies particularly if your child falls asleep brandishing it) it has an off switch. I think the only thing that has disappointed Dimples is her inability to turn her sister into a frog.

And if it makes Dimples sleep better then I am so a believer in the Ben and Holly magic.

The Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Magic Mirror Wand is available at all good retailers for the RRP of £15.99 . For more information, please visit the Ben and Holly facebook page or the newly updated Ben and Holly website.

Disclosure: I Dimples was given a Wand free of charge to review. But you knew that, right?
