The First Word

My children are a study in contrasts: one likes Marmite, the other hates it. She eats Peanut Butter which the Marmite-lover can’t bear. Dimples has a cheese allergy yet Pocket Dictator will eat Baked Potato with cheese until it comes out of her ears. I had a thought that I would use the word opposite for my Gallery entry this week, in fact.

Then I had a better idea, since whilst they are so very different, my Girls also have something in common: their first word.

The Wonder Hound

Doggy.

And their utter devotion to our Dog, Nugget. Which was their second word.

There are many other words available at Sticky Fingers.

If I had a dog that looked that cute, I think it would be the only word I used all day!

I’ll tell her you think she’s cute: she loves compliments!

It has been very hard this week. Not a gift at all. In fact I nearly gave up altogether πŸ˜‰

Perfect. And what a lovely doogy with such a sweet expression…I say this as a cat lady who is not often impressed by canines!

Thanks Chris: she can look cute sometimes though she spends a lot of the day being called Cretin. Sometimes I wish I’d gone with a cat…….
