Things I learned about Moths yesterday

So here are some of the things I learned about moths yesterday:
Moths are attracted to moisture- the sweat in our clothes, the cat pee under our sofa…
They are also attracted to open food packets, but will eat into unopened and even foil packets once opened.
They will eat the felt inside your piano.
They can come up into your flat from the one below if downstairs has a moth problem. They are often ‘left behind’ (and taken with) by previous occupiers.
They are a bugger to get rid of- you have to clean absolutely everything thoroughly.
Dry cleaning and/or tumble drying can get rid of their eggs from rugs and clothes and curtains.
Even some of the poshest stores in London have moth issues.
You get creepy dreams after having spent the day dealing with moth-related issues.
If you have a problem, try Greenway Pest Control. Not only do they provide a great service, they offer advice over the phone and sell a number of products to help combat your pest issue.
*Disclosure: this is not a sponsored post but I had a thorough insight into the havoc that moths can wreak at work yesterday and the company that dealt with the situation were fabulous: helpful, informative and on time.
