Edible Sparkle Treats

Ingredients
  • 150g plain chocolate, melted
  • 5 pieces crystallised ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 crunchies, crushed- you could use home-made honeycomb
  • Edible glitter
Instructions
  1. Once the chocolate has melted- I just rested in a dish on the Aga but you can melt it in the microwave or use a pan over a very low heat- place spoonfuls onto greaseproof paper. Use the back of the spoon to spread the melted chocolate into disc shapes.
  2. Sprinkle with crushed Crunchie and ginger pieces.
  3. Add a fine dusting of edible glitter or sparkle.
  4. Leave to cool, then package up in pretty cellophane bags.
  5. I have found that the best thing is to make a few discs at a time, sprinkle with toppings and then move onto a few more. IF you do this, you'll need to keep the chocolate melted- just rest your dish/pan in a bowl that has some boiled water in the bottom. So long as the water does not go over the edge of the pan and into the chocolate, the heat from the water will keep the chocolate ready for use.
