Melted Candy Cane Lollipops

I wanted to make some shapes with melted candy canes the other day. I saw post before Christmas that gave me the idea.

But I had a bit of a craft fail, which resulted in some pretty Melted Candy Cane Roses that i shared on Red Ted Art’s blog.

This gave me the idea to melt the crushed candy canes in a mould.

candy cane lollipops

Which didn’t work either. Whatevs. I scooped up the gloop that slipped out from the mould when I took it off too early, using a lollipop stick. I stirred it in a circle as it hardened. I inserted a lollipop stick and twisted it to secure it in the sugar. I sprinkled it all with cruched candy cane.

And then I left to cool.

Peppermint sugariness on a stick, they are good!
