My Daddy’s new car is amazing!
It’s little and green and he buyed it for going to his new work on the train. We are going to live in the country which is a long way from his office which is in London. It is called POLO which I can read now. Mamma’s is called BMW which is not a nice name for a car.
I only want to go on a journey in Daddy’s car now.
Mamma’s car is very big and the doors are hard to open but I can do my door in Daddy’s car on my own because it has small doors.
Mamma’s car has lots of music and stories to listen to when we are driving. We like to listen to the songs very loud and get Mamma to press the window button. In Daddy’s car we can only listen to The News, but we have special handles which can wind the windows whenever we want. It’s a bit tricky to push them up to the top when we stop but if I practice then I can do it. The winding up windows are my sister’s favourite too.
In Mamma’s car we have special seats but they are only black which is a very yucky colour and always makes me too hot when I fall asleep, but Daddy’s car has new booster seats with Mickey Mouse on them. They have a drinks holder so if we are thirsty we can reach a drink all by ourselves and not ask a grown-up. I wish Mamma’s car had cup holders.
Daddy’s car is very clean and tidy though. Mamma says that Daddy will be cross so we are not allowed to eat when we are in it but he took us to swimming one day and he gave us chocolate and we eated it all without making a single mess. My sister spills a lot but she makes a mess in Mamma’s car. I don’t think Daddy likes a mess much.
We can only bring one toy in Daddy’s car too so I have to choose a very special one and there are no books and no games and no nappies or blankets for when we need them on a journey.
I asked Mamma to take a picture on her phone with Daddy’s car so that we can look at it whenever we want and when Daddy takes his car to his new station. I winded down the window and waved hello and Mamma even put girls music on to listen to when we were taking the picture.
It’s such fun to be in Daddy’s car. It’s better than Mamma’s
