It’s going to spend the best part of the weekend raining down here in the South of England, so I know we’ll be spending a good chunk of time making and cutting and painting and blu-ing (glueing), which is the Threeva’s new favourite thing. If you are stuck indoors and searching for ideas, here are a few examples of things we have made recently:
OK, so the last one was all me, but I really enjoyed making the heart-shaped wreath from doilies, despite the burns I got from the hot glue. You can find the recipe for the cloud dough here. And for the printing, I just cut shapes from bubble wrap, stuck them to corrugated card to give them a firm base then let the girls dip in paint and print on the paper.
