Thought for a Thursday

The evening news featured the funeral of Olaf Schmid, a bomb disposal expert who recently died in Afghanistan. His wife, with extra-ordinary composure, asked us to continue supporting our soldiers, even if we did not agree with the war. It’s such a small request. Pictures: The Telegraph
