Sami is an awesome little boy with a wicked smile and a scary ability to finish jigsaws. He has fantastically supportive parents who are currently in a battle with their LEA to get support for his educational needs. Which I imagine to be like trying to get the Prime Minister of Pakistan to do the Macarena….
In his wisdom, and possibly after one too many sherries, Mr Woodvale has decided to participate in the Champagne Bike Ride next summer. He has also ‘persuaded’ several of his friends to join him (maybe it was more than one-too-many-sherries?) Naturally I would have been cycling too, were I not carrying a whole other person (that and not having a natural aptitude for bikes, or the stamina to cycle from London to Reims in THREE DAYS!!!!) so I am sponsoring him instead- Mrs Woodvale has suggested that he may wear a pink all-in-one if he gets enough money. If you have the will, the wherewithall, the Christmas spirit, I’d appreciate it if you would consider sponsoring him too.
And should you wish to take up the gauntlet, all the details are here.

You are a great friend to Sami. I am also a member of the NAS and was more than happy to make a donation. With love and best wishes to those involved.
