Unexpected, my arse. I shamelessly approached several bloggers and grovelled in a pitiful fashion until they handed over the pink shiny badge of honour. I wasn’t going to be the only part-time blogger in blogland without a bloggin’ award, let me tell you. Fortunately WUASTC took the bait. In the intervening period, I have had a guest editor, and didn’t feel I could steal her limelight (she is my mother), but she’s gone back to Africa, so there’ll be no holding me back.
Then, this morning, I received the award-entirely unprompted, from another source. Must be my lucky day. Thanks Gwen.
I’m off to shine my halo. And put the house on the market…lady luck appears to be shining, and I need all the help I can get!
