My hen night was virtually non-existent because I didn’t have any friends here. I waited till my sister, my BF, my stepmother, and two other people were available and we went to a beer festival where some drunk spilt beer down my sister. And none of us even liked beer!

The photos are back from Ibiza – sadly none are fit/suitable/good enough to appear on my blog. I might salvage the odd one or two but it was all too “content over quality” for my liking….now, if I were writing a soft porn blog then maybe one or two more would make the grade.

I’m glad it’s not just me re Mrs Terry’s dress. My granny had a frock (how I hate that word but it seems to fit very well) that looked exactly like that. Crocheted it was, you couldn’t wear it in the rain or the chest level covering descended to knee height.

I was thinking that she used a lot of toilet roll…but now you’ve said that Heidi, I think she just looks like one of those loo-roll doll things from the 70′s. Doesn’t look like £60,000…..

Bert came back from Tesco Metro this morning with, not just Heat and Grazia (yes, these days I sometimes have to wait until the weekend to get my fix) but also OK because just had to see the ohn Terry wag-arama wedding pics. The word shocking does not do it justice. Could the bride not find a decent frock – someone should have told her that Debenhams does really lovely ones for under £200. No need to use the loo roll holder and the bath mat to make one.

Hen and stag nights are getting out of hand. I am on a very limited income at the moment and I have to pick and choose which ones I can afford to go to. If they were inexpensive I could go to them all.

Hen nights, take ‘em or leave ‘em! I’ve had two (been married twice) and both consisted of a meal out with about fifteen girlie friends. Everyone else got plastered and I stayed relatively sober! I wanted to remember the night.
